Rae (Yanxi) Wang

Hi, I’m Rae.

I work across product design, UX, and mobile games. I’m interested in the moment when a complicated experience starts to make sense to the person using it.

I look closely at the next action.

In games, a rule matters when it changes what a player can do. On a website, a link matters when someone expects to use it. I bring that attention to timing, feedback, and expectations to my product and UX work.

I make the choices concrete.

My design work at FUN-GI GAMES includes Dodgeball Dojo and House Flip. Other projects have involved a podcast website, a campus information hub, and exploratory user research. I use flows and prototypes to work through constraints with researchers, visual designers, developers, and stakeholders.

Art is part of how I think.

My background includes game design, 2D art, programming, and psychology. Games and visual art give me ways to explore how an experience works and how it feels.
